  The C5s Biotech Patenting Conferences are for me the best way to get updated on the latest developments in the Biotech IP field. The presentations cover a lot of ground but are also concise and to the point.   One of the best specialised conferences for the pharma industry, with some excellent speakers (e.g. Feb 2012 - Adela Willaims, Victoria Kitcatt) who give very clear, concise and pragmatic advice, rather than purely theoretical updates. Given the quality of the delegates as well as the speakers, the networking opportunities are usually good too.
