An experienced corporate lawyer is required for a senior in-house role with this growing international oil service company.
Taking charge of structuring intra-company and third party corporate vehicles including joint ventures and special purpose vehicles. Negotiation, drafting and consideration of a variety of commercial agreements. Reporting to the Vice President Legal - Corporate, the role of Senior Legal Counsel - Corporate is to provide legal support and advice in the following areas

• maintaining awareness of statutory laws, regulations and judicial developments affecting the business
• advising on corporate governance issues
• managing and advising on mergers , acquisitions and disposals
• negotiation and drafting of joint venture and consortium agreements
• managing and advising on litigation and commercial disputes
• the incorporation, administration, re-structuring and dissolution of various forms of legal structures
• advising on intellectual property issues
• advising on HSEQ issues and statutory compliance
• compliance with Code of Business Conduct and Competition Law
Qualifications:
A Law Degree from a recognised academic institution and a practising certificate from a recognised Legal Professional Body is essential
